Discover Vision Centers has been serving the Kansas City community for over 30 years. Our history of quality eye care began in 1973 with two doctors, both Lee's Summit residents. Discover Vision Centers (DVC) has grown now to over 30 doctors and more than 250 employees in eight locations throughout Missouri and Kansas.
Discover Vision offers total family eye care ranging from comprehensive eye exams for all ages to advanced no-stitch cataract and LASIK surgery. We were the first practice in the area to fully-integrate Ophthalmology, Optometry and Optical services (O3) at each location. Ophthalmologists are physicians who perform surgery and treat diseases. Optometrists specialize in routine eye care, as well as diagnosing and managing disease. Every DVC location is complete with a full-service optical shop, open to patients and non-patients alike, where you can purchase glasses, sunglasses and contacts.
Our O3 approach to eye care allows you to have a routine exam with a DVC specialist and order glasses or contacts all in one-stop. We have specialists in nearly every area of eye care and treat everyone from infants to grandparents. Discover Vision Centers offers world-class quality eye care and patient-focused service.
