A fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Jefferson received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Nebraska. He also holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of Kansas, where he is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and is the Director of Cataract and Implant Surgery at the affiliated Kansas City VA. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Jefferson is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and American Medical Association.
