About DVC

Discover Vision Centers (DVC), formerly Eye Care, Inc., has been serving the Kansas City community for over 35 years. Our history of quality eye care began in 1973 with one doctor and five staff members. DVC has grown now to over 30 doctors and more than 250 employees in nine locations throughout Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. We are proud to be a locally-owned and operated business.

What We Do

Discover Vision offers total family eye care ranging from comprehensive eye exams for all ages to advanced no-stitch cataract and LASIK surgery in Kansas City. We were the first practice in the area to fully-integrate O3 services (Ophthalmology, Optometry and Optical) at each location. Ophthalmologists are physicians who perform surgery and treat diseases. Optometrists specialize in routine eye care, as well as diagnosing and managing disease. Every DVC location is complete with a full-service optical shop, open to patients and non-patients alike, where you can purchase glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses.

Our O3 approach to eye care allows you to have a routine exam with a DVC specialist and order glasses or contacts all in one-stop.
