Dr. Brett Dawson is a residency-trained optometrist from the Memphis Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis, TN. Prior to completing his doctor of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Dawson worked at DVC during his time off from school. He has been an asset to our retinal team where he helps with low vision rehabilitation, retina care, and the diagnosis and management of geriatric eye diseases. Dr. Dawson also handles diabetic eye care, glaucoma diagnosis and management, routine/entire family eye care, contact lens fittings, and ocular disease. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, Missouri Optometric Association and Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City.
