As a member of Discover Vision Centers' Refractive surgery team, Dr. Smith treats ocular disease and specializes in the pre and post-operative care of refractive surgery patients. He is certified by the International Board of Examiners in Optometry for the treatment and management of Ocular disease. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biological sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his Bachelor of Science in Visual Sciences and Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He is a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association and Kansas Optometric Association.
