Randy T. Jackson, M.D.

Dr. Randy JacksonDr. Randy Jackson is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in refractive surgery, including LASIK Laser Vision Correction, Full Focus® Vision Correction and cataract surgery.  Dr. Jackson also treats corneal disease and performs full-thickness corneal and endothelial transplants.

Dr. Jackson completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, and ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas.  Prior to returning to Kansas City to complete a one year LASIK and corneal fellowship under the guidance of John Doane, M.D., F.A.C.S., Dr. Jackson was in private practice for 2 years in Cambridge, Minnesota.  He has presented research at national ophthalmology meetings and co-authored multiple book chapters on refractive surgery.

On March 23rd, 2009, Dr. Jackson moved his eye care practice from Discover Vision’s Leawood office to the company’s newest location at 11010 Haskell Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.  In an effort to better serve the Wyandotte, Leavenworth and surrounding counties, Discover Vision's KCK office provides comprehensive services, including routine eye exams, contacts and glasses, LASIK evaluations, cataract consultations and more.
