(Kansas City, MO) – Tyler F. Brundige, M.D. joined Discover Vision’s Northland office, located at 9401 N. Oak Trafficway, on Mon., Sept. 17. Brundige has been serving patients in the Northland for the past five years and will continue to do so as part of the Discover Vision team.
Brundige is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in comprehensive eye care, including no-stitch cataract surgery, the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and management of diabetic and other systemic eye diseases. Brundige graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1988. He served his internship in internal medicine (1998-99) and residency in ophthalmology (1999-2002) at the University of Missouri – Columbia. Brundige received the John Aure Buesseler Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology and the Award for Outstanding Research Presentation from the Mason Eye Institute in 2001 and 2002.
