(Leawood, KS) – On Monday, August 6th, Stephen S. Lile, O.D. will join Discover Vision’s Leawood office, located at 11707 Roe Avenue. Dr. Lile has been in private practice for the last 15 years in Johnson County at 8340 Mission Rd. He also worked in a pediatric ophthalmology / optometry setting for eight years prior. Dr. Lile is excited to join the Discover Vision team and will continue to care for his patients at the Leawood office.
Dr. Stephen Lile was born and raised in the Leawood area. He attended Kansas State University where he graduated cum laude. Dr. Lile received his doctor of optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry and completed internships at the Irwin Army Hospital in Fort Riley, KS and the VA Medical Center in Topeka.
Dr. Lile provides routine family eye care, including contact lens fittings. He will join Discover Vision’s Refractive Team, where he will conduct refractive surgery consultations for LASIK, Full Focus and other vision correction procedures. Dr. Lile is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Kansas Optometric Association. He enjoys interacting with his local community and speaking to organizations or groups about maintaining healthy vision. Dr. Lile is a husband and father of three children and is very active in coaching youth baseball and football.
