Allergan Diabetic Macular Edema Study

Enrolling for Allergan Diabetic Macular Edema study. Must have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, at least 18 years of age. Diagnosed by eye doctor with diabetic macular edema.

Novartis, Wet Macular Degeneration Study

Enrolling for Novartis, wet macular degeneration study. Must be diagnosed with wet macular degeneration and no previous treatment for macular degeneration. Subjects are treated with Lucentis and Visudyne.

Glaukos iStent

Discover Vision Centers is seeking patients who have open-angle glaucoma and are also planning to have cataract surgery. Those who qualify and participate will receive $800. The research study, conducted by Dr. Doug Dehning, involves a micro stent, a device which creates an opening for fluid to pass through.

Eligible participants must have:

  • Open angle glaucoma
  • Cataracts and planning to have surgery
  • Taking 1 to 3 glaucoma medications for the past 2 mos.
  • Can not have had glaucoma surgery or laser surgery
