Enjoy Life Without Cataracts

Are you frustrated with bad vision or struggling with night driving?

You Now Have Options

Cataracts are extremely common and a natural part of the aging process. Cataracts occur when the lens in your eye becomes cloudy from natural proteins that build up over time.

The result is blurred vision. The good news is that Cataract surgery is considered one of the safest surgical procedures in the US.

We’re changing the way you SEE after cataract surgery

If your vision is getting cloudy, if you are losing your color perception, if you are having trouble reading or driving at night, you may be developing cataracts. The natural lens inside the eye is normally transparent in our youth. As we age, our clear lenses inevitably become cloudy, resulting in the formation of a cataract. Cataracts are a normal part of the aging process and can develop slowly. However, as the cataract matures, the cloudiness increases, resulting in significant loss of sight and even blindness. We can help at Discover Vision Centers.

Early Signs of Developing Cataracts?

Blurry, Cloudy Vision

One of the most obvious signs of cataracts is blurry or cloudy vision. This can make it difficult to see clearly, and many people describe blurry spots in your field of vision.

Night Driving and Difficulty Seeing in Low Light

Patients with early-stage cataracts will have increased sensitivity to glare and worsening of nighttime vision.

Appearance of Halos and Glare

As the new lens hardens and becomes less transparent, you may notice the unwanted appearance of halos and glare around bright lights.

Increased Light Sensitivity

For people with developing cataracts, bright lights can become uncomfortable. This increased light sensitivity can interfere with your normal daily routine and activities.

Your Cataract Surgery Journey Starts Here

Cataract Surgery Procedure Work?

Lasers can be used for part of modern cataract surgery. A femtosecond laser is used to create the incisions for the surgeon to enter the eye and remove the cataract. This same sophisticated laser technology also helps complete the next two steps of the cataract procedure. It helps to open the lens capsule and to soften the crystalline lens for removal.
